5 Stage Cleaning Process

Product Details

The Unitech 5 Step CIP System is an automatic hygiene solution for dairy businesses that require consistent tank cleaning after milk storage or processing. It is suitable for dairy farms, milk collection centers, commercial milk producers, and processing plants where hygiene, repeatability, and operational efficiency are essential. The system is designed to support a complete cleaning cycle using water rinsing, detergent washing, intermediate rinsing, final rinsing, and sanitization. These steps follow the common CIP process used across food, dairy, and beverage applications

Technical Specifications

Designed to complete a structured washing cycle including pre-rinse, detergent wash, intermediate rinse, final rinse, and sanitizing rinse for hygienic tank cleaning.

The system can be operated through a programmable controller to manage washing cycles, timing, chemical dosing, and system functions with repeatable accuracy.

Internal contact parts can be manufactured using AISI 304 stainless steel to support corrosion resistance and hygienic dairy operation.

Equipped with separate dosing pumps for cleaning chemicals such as detergent and acid/sanitizer, helping maintain controlled chemical supply during washing.

The system uses spray-based cleaning to reach the interior tank surface and remove milk residue, fats, and deposits without opening or manually scrubbing the tank.

Integrated alarm functionality can alert the operator in case of an issue during the wash cycle, helping improve operational control and cleaning reliability.

How Does It Work?

5 Step Cleaning Cycle

Pre-Rinse

The pre-rinse wets the internal tank surface, removes most remaining milk residue, helps dissolve sugars, partially melts fats, and prepares the tank for detergent washing.

Detergent / Caustic Wash

The detergent wash helps break down fats and organic milk deposits. Caustic wash can also be used at this stage because it softens fats and removes residues effectively.

Intermediate Rinse

Next, a comprehensive wave of fresh water thoroughly flushes out any remaining detergent traces from the tank before the next cleaning stage can start

Final Rinse

The final rinse removes residual cleaning agents from the system and prepares the tank for sanitization or the next production cycle.

Sanitizing Rinse

The sanitizing rinse helps reduce microbial load before the tank is used again as bacterial growth can affect milk quality.
